Peggy Bahn

Peggy Bahn

Peggy has been volunteering at the Burleigh County Senior Center for 4 1/2 years. She started with home delivery packing and currently serves coffee. Peggy enjoys reading, doing puzzles and spending time with family. She grew up in Maxbass, ND, farmed for 33 years in Newburg, ND, moved to Minot and six years ago moved to Bismarck to be near her children. She has four children, five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Peggy was married for 68 years and after her husband passed away she started coming to the Senior Center for something to do and to meet new people.

Renee Lowenstein

Renee Lowenstein

Renee has been volunteering at the Burleigh County Senior Center since November of 2005. She volunteers with delivering the Home Delivered Meals. Renee previously worked as a caretaker and an accountant. She enjoys going to concerts and movies, having lunch with friends and family time. She has three daughters, six grandchildren and one great grandson. Renee started coming to the Burleigh County Senior Center because she enjoys socializing with the people at the Center and also the recipients of the meals that she delivers.
