Research has proven that older adults who socialize regularly live longer and healthier lives. At the Burleigh County Senior Adults Program, we "live"! Learning, playing, exercising, eating with friends, celebrating the little things...isn't that what life's all about? Join us for everything from Bone Builders to book club, movies to meatballs, and coffee to coloring.
Your health, wellness and independence are our primary concerns. To keep your body healthy, we offer Bone Builders, a fitness room, foot care, and a healthy lunch. To keep your mind well, take part in our Monday Motivation seminars, help others by volunteering with us, play any of the games we offer, or just drop by for a little coffee and conversation. Everything we do revolves around our participants and their wellbeing. And at the Burleigh County Senior Adults Program, we believe that should always include fun!
The Burleigh County Senior Adults Program is housed at the Bismarck Senior Center, 315 N. 20th St., Bismarck, ND. The Burleigh County Senior Adults Program organizes, develops and coordinates services and activities for adults age 60 and older. The program provides information, services and activities for successful living.
Services include nutritional meals, outreach services and health maintenance. These services, along with our life enrichment and volunteer activities, make the Bismarck Senior Center a place to gather, network and become involved in the community.
The Burleigh County Senior Adults Program is a nonprofit organization overseen by a board of directors made of nine members. An executive director supervises the daily operations of the program. Federal, state, county and city resources, along with private donations, support the program and help expand its capacity to build a better community for all.
If you believe our organization may offer something important for you or someone you know, please contact us for more information. Call us at 701-255-4648 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
