Volunteers

You Make It Happen!

The key to our success rests in our volunteers who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, "Yes I can, and so can you!" Thank you so much for your hard work. We could never have asked for more dedicated volunteers, and we cannot express how grateful we are to have you here!

Judy Loebs

Judy has been volunteering with Home Delivery Meal packing at the Bismarck Senior Center for four to five years now. She grew up in Linton with two sisters and four brothers. After graduation, she moved to Bismarck and has lived here ever since. Before coming to the Center she was employed at Sears for over 30 years. She retired from Sears and then worked at
Bismarck Lumber for another seven years. She says she originally started coming to the Senior Center because she needed to find something to do after she retired. She wanted to get out of the house and meet new people. When she isn’t at the Senior Center, Judy enjoys gardening, camping, making new dishes, baking and traveling to Minneapolis to visit family. Judy has been married for 49 years. She and has one daughter and three grandchildren that live in the Minneapolis area. Judy says she keeps coming back to the Bismarck Senior Center because she enjoys visiting and meeting new people. Thank you Judy, for giving your time and serving others here at the Bismarck Senior Center!
