The key to our success rests in our volunteers who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, "Yes I can, and so can you!" Thank you so much for your hard work. We could never have asked for more dedicated volunteers, and we cannot express how grateful we are to have you here!
Frances Miller has been volunteering at the Bismarck Senior Center for eleven years now. Before she retired, she worked at Head Start for 25 years and then as a sub for the Bismarck Public Schools for another 10 years. She says she originally came to the Senior Center because she was bored and looking for something to do. She volunteers with the coffee bar, caramel rolls, packing for HDM, taking tickets and whatever else needs to be done. When she isn’t at the Senior Center, she enjoys cooking and puzzles. Frances grew up on a farm 7 miles N & 2 miles E of Bismarck. She was married for 27 years and has been widowed for 37 years. She has five children. Frances says she keeps coming back to the Bismarck Senior Center because it’s an opportunity to get out of the house and she lives close by so it is convenient to get here. Thank you, Frances, for giving your time and continuing to serve others here at the Bismarck Senior Center!
