The key to our success rests in our volunteers who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, "Yes I can, and so can you!" Thank you so much for your hard work. We could never have asked for more dedicated volunteers, and we cannot express how grateful we are to have you here!
Norma has been volunteering at the Senior Center for about 12 years now. She has done everything from washing tables to decorating the Christmas trees. Norma originally came to the Senior Center with her sister Dolly on her way to Minot to visit their mother. When Norma retired along with her husband Jim, they moved back to Bismarck. These days, Norma mainly works in the craft room creating amazing things and leading the other ladies who do such good work there. When Norma isn’t at the Senior Center, she enjoys learning more about the history of North Dakota by visiting the Heritage Center, going to county museums and old forts. She has four children, eight grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren who are mostly in Minnesota except for one grandson in England. Norma says she volunteers because she likes being busy and being around people. Norma has made a lot of friends here and will be missed terribly when she moves closer to her family. Thank you for everything you’ve contributed, Norma!
