The key to our success rests in our volunteers who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, "Yes I can, and so can you!" Thank you so much for your hard work. We could never have asked for more dedicated volunteers, and we cannot express how grateful we are to have you here!
Sally Kraft has been volunteering at the Bismarck Senior Center for about eight years now. Before she and her husband Ron retired, she worked as a nurse assistant at CHI St. Alexius. She says she originally came to the Senior Center because she likes to be busy and be around people. She volunteers with Bone Builders and Senior Center Singers. Sally also serves ice cream, carries trays, and helps pour coffee. When she isn’t at the Senior Center, Sally also volunteers at Sanford Hospice. She enjoys the Heritage Center and gospel songs. Family is also very important to her. She has one son and two step children. She has several grandchildren and even a great grandchild! Sally says she keeps coming back to the Bismarck Senior Center because being busy keeps her happy and smiling. She says it’s a great place to volunteer because the staff and other volunteers are all great! Thank you, Sally, for being happy, smiling, and continuing to serve others here at the Bismarck Senior Center!
