Volunteers

You Make It Happen!

The key to our success rests in our volunteers who embody the spirit of greatness by saying, "Yes I can, and so can you!" Thank you so much for your hard work. We could never have asked for more dedicated volunteers, and we cannot express how grateful we are to have you here!

Robert (Bob) Sprynczynatyk

Bob has been volunteering at the Burleigh County Senior Center for five to six years now. He started working in the kitchen as a dish washer and currently serves caramel rolls on the 1st Wednesday of the month, packages home delivery meals and participates in any activities that involve school children. Bob was the Director of Accounting for Bismarck Public Schools for 23 years and in his younger years he enjoyed playing softball and was on a bowling league for 20 years.

Bob has lived in Bismarck all his life and is married to Karen. Between the two of them they have four children, four stepchildren, 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. When he isn’t at the Senior Center, he works as a player’s assistant at the golf courses, plays golf himself, volunteers at church and at the Teddy Roosevelt Foundation and attends the sporting events of his grandchildren. Bob continues coming to the Burleigh County Senior Center because he enjoys the camaraderie between himself and Erin and Dean. Before he retired, he said he was going to be one of those people that volunteers, and here he is! Thank you Bob! We appreciate all that you do for the Burleigh County Senior Center!
